ALH Aid works with vulnerable communities to strengthen food security, household livelihoods and resilience to climate and environmental pressures. We recognise that hunger, poverty, land degradation, climate shocks and limited economic opportunity are closely connected and require integrated responses.
Our interventions may include climate-smart agriculture, agroforestry, nutrition-sensitive livelihoods, vocational and enterprise support, income generation, renewable energy, environmental restoration, community awareness and locally led climate adaptation.
We prioritise practical approaches that help households protect productive assets, diversify income, improve access to nutritious food and strengthen their capacity to anticipate, absorb and recover from shocks.
