How We Work
Our programmes are underpinned by evidence, inclusion, community participation, accountability and partnership. These cross-cutting approaches guide how ALH Aid designs, delivers, monitors, learns from and improves humanitarian and development interventions.
Research, Evidence & Learning
Research and evidence are foundational to ALH Aid's work. We assess needs, analyse vulnerabilities, engage communities, measure outcomes and apply learning to design, improve and scale effective humanitarian and development interventions.
Gender Equality, Protection & Inclusion
We promote dignity, safety, equal participation and equitable access to opportunities, with particular attention to women, children, persons with disabilities, displaced populations and other vulnerable groups.
Community Participation & Localisation
We work with communities as partners in identifying needs, designing interventions, implementing activities and evaluating results, strengthening local ownership and sustainable solutions.
Partnerships, Accountability & Sustainability
We collaborate with communities, government institutions, humanitarian actors, civil society, development partners and the private sector while promoting accountability, transparency and sustainable impact.
